Village life provides you with a new sense of freedom and when it comes to things to do at MiLife, our residents are spoilt for choice. From exercise classes and games, to socialising with fellow residents during happy hour, we have a range of regular activities and events to suit everyone. Join in as much or as little as you like, and continue your activities outside of the village. The choice is yours.
Communities with Heart
Social connection is one of the pillars of a healthy, happy life.
For many of our residents, this is exactly why they choose MiLife.
Each village is a vibrant community of residents, enjoying independence in their own homes but with friendly neighbours nearby. With regular socialising, frequent trips and a range of activities, there’s always something to do, whether it's an excursion to town or a coffee at the community centre with friends.
You'll gain a sense of belonging and the ability to make new friends, while balancing your own lifestyle and independence.
Time to Enjoy
If we had the choice over again, there is nowhere we’d rather be.
Our three daughters and their families were all living in New Plymouth and keen for us to make the move from Hawera to be closer to them. MiLife ticked all our boxes, we love being able to walk to the beach, shopping centre, medical centre and pharmacy. We are not as energetic as we used to be but still enjoy all the activities and just love living here!
Signing up to live here is probably one of the better decisions we have made in our lives. We've become involved in village life, while still appreciating independent living.
It's a good place to be living.
We are able to take part in activities or not. The grounds are well kept and we are able to have our own garden. I would recommend the village to anyone wanting security and independence.
This Village is small and unique. The welcome I received on moving in was something very special. I credit a big part of that to Linda who has put so much into making the Villas beautiful with such wonderful vibes in the Village. Residents here are truly blessed.
